Airport transfer luggage matters as much as passenger numbers. A car that seats four may not hold four large suitcases. Here is what fits in each vehicle, so you can pick the right one.
Airport Transfer Luggage: What Fits in Each Vehicle
Our fleet guide gives these limits for standard cases:
- Saloon: 1 to 4 passengers, up to 2 x 23kg cases
- Estate: 1 to 4 passengers, up to 3 x 23kg cases
- MPVs and minibuses: tell us your bags when you book, and we assign the right vehicle
You can see every vehicle on our fleet page.
Which Vehicle Should You Choose?
First, count your passengers. Then count your bags. Many people forget that luggage takes more room than people expect.
For example, a couple with three large cases fits an estate better than a saloon. A family with prams and extra bags may need an MPV or minibus. Our family airport transfers guide covers car seats and pushchairs in more detail.
Is Luggage Included in the Price?
Standard luggage is included in our fixed fare. If you have unusually large or excess luggage, tell us when you book. As a result, we can send a vehicle that fits everything.
Large Groups and Extra Bags
Groups of up to 8 travel in our minibuses. Larger minibuses are available for groups of up to 16. Read more about our Liverpool airport minibus with driver service.
Tips for Packing for Your Transfer
- Weigh your cases before you leave home
- Keep passports and tickets in your hand luggage
- Tell us about prams, golf clubs or sports kit in advance
- Check your airline and the GOV.UK hand luggage rules before you pack
Why Extra Space Helps
A full car with no room for bags makes a long journey tiring. So when you are unsure, choose the next size up. A little spare space helps everyone relax, and it keeps bags from sitting on laps.
